I-Week 2022

I-Week is all about celebrating the melting pot of cultural diversity we have right here in our community! We encourage you to consider being a part of the biggest Texas A&M international festival of the year. If you would like to attend any of the events below, please RSVP.

I-Exhibit (Mon. 3/28)

International organizations will set up tables in Rudder Plaza and the 12th Man hall to showcase their cultures and tell attendees all about what makes their home country so amazing. There’s no limit to how creative you can be!

I-Story (Tues. 3/29)

Students can give a short, informative presentation on a culture of their choice. Participants will be giving their 10 minute presentations in person, and the winner will receive an award at the end of I-Week. We plan on live-streaming this event, so those with COVID concerns can attend virtually.

I-Dinner (Wed. 3/30)

An in-person buffet at the Rudder Plaza. Tickets will be 5$ before the event and 7$ at the door. Food will include cuisines from the Middle East, East Asia, Latin America, and more! There will also be live performances from various cultural groups. Buy tickers!

I-Show (Thurs. 3/31)

Performance groups or individuals are given the stage of Rudder Theatre to showcase fashion or perform music, dances or other talents. If you wish to perform please fill out the participation form.

A limited audience will be allowed in the auditorium.

I-Art (Fri. 4/1)

An educational program where attendees will be able to participate in different international art styles. A henna artist will be available, as well as a live performance. There will also be an art competition, all students are encouraged to submit a piece of art that attendees will judge, and there will be prizes for the top three! Cultural organizations will be present to teach attendees a little more about their culture and offer an artistic activity from their culture.
